A past customer who had rented heating reached out to REIC Specialty for some summer cooling rentals while working on a project in Iowa. As the interior construction phase of the project began, the summer heat was rising. With the building completely enclosed, humidity and temperature control became a necessity to maintain progress.
During construction of a multi-story facility underway, the job site Superintendent of the project knew that winter would either make or break the project schedule. Protecting their schedule and managing the interior conditions during the winter. The idea was that if they could manage their budget and have temporary heating installed, it may work out.
During the early phases of construction a general contractor sought temporary heating during construction. With exterior walls and roofing nearing completion, both concrete flooring and interior construction would require heating during the cold of a South Dakota winter.
A repeat customer of REIC Specialty requested climate control equipment for several stages of construction on a new building in Minnesota. The contractor approached REIC well before the project broke ground and had outlined the stages that would require climate control. REIC had provided heating the previous year during the brick and concrete phases, cooling and dehumidification during the summer, and was now asked to return for another winter to provide heating for the final stages.
A single jet heater was lifted atop a building under construction. As a result, a concrete contractor never worked the same again. On a high-rise building under construction in Manhattan, a concrete contractor poured each concrete slab, one floor after another.
With the winter approaching, a longtime customer of REIC Specialty reached out for help during the interior work of a new construction project. The four-story hotel under construction had exterior framing complete and the building was moving to interior work, including drywall.
A call came in late on a Friday about a facility needing emergency cooling. By Saturday afternoon, two 30 Ton AC units had been delivered, setup and were delivering cooling to bring an entire mining operation back online.
During a visit at a production pad where workover activity was being performed, a Cahill sales rep noticed rental heaters already in use on the site. After a short conversation they asked the site manager if they would like to experience an alternative?
With a floor plan spanning over 3 million square feet, performing interior construction during winter in the Midwest can prove challenging. The general contractors on this project had previously been using a standard heater line that they typically use on other projects, with limited success. Given the massive scale of this building, traditional heaters were not delivering the temperatures desired, nor were they pushing heat to the interior of the building.
While building a new manufacturing plant in Texas, a large international technology company grew tired of the labor required for its existing solar light towers. The firm also wanted to monitor the job site more closely, which was not possible until REIC entered the job.
