Where It Started
Founded in 2014 by industry veteran Kevin Fitzgerald, REIC rapidly established itself as a meaningful player and one of the fastest growing companies in the North American rental services industry. REIC’s uniquely differentiated acquisition and operating model, focused on acquiring private companies in small to mid-sized growing geographic markets, and maintaining legacy brands while providing financial and operational support to accelerate growth, has led to the successful completion of 18 acquisitions and 7 greenfield openings in less than 8 years. With corporate headquarters in Miami, FL, REIC now operates two divisions, General Rental, and Specialty Rental, with 45 locations across North America under 8 brands.
Our General Rental Division focuses on providing the highest quality aerial, earthmoving, power, compression, and other small types of equipment for contractors and homeowners, and consists of a strategic footprint of 32 locations across 7 states. Our Specialty Rental Division provides a wide variety of HVAC equipment and solutions for multiple applications and is currently comprised of 5 distinct brands operating in 19 locations across North America.

Prior to that, Greg was the CEO of a technology company and a Managing Director at Wells Fargo Capital Finance.

Derek has over 20 years’ experience in the rental industry, holding a variety of senior financial and operational roles throughout the US and Europe. He joined REIC via the acquisition of Cahill Rentals and oversees the financial, accounting and administrative operations for the REIC Group.
Nic Grizzell
VP Finance
Nic joined REIC in 2022 as CFO of the company’s Specialty organization. Previously, Nic was an investment banker at Prestwick Partners, a Minneapolis-based boutique sell-side investment bank. During his tenure at Prestwick, Nic gained broad M&A experience in a variety of business types including equipment rental, business services, industrial, and niche manufacturing, among others.
Jon Martin
VP Sales
With over 25 years in sales and operations roles in the specialty rental business industry, Jon collaborates with the USA and Canada sales teams to penetrate the market with our temporary rental equipment solutions. Jon, as Cahill’s US Division Vice President, is responsible for launching the Cahill US Operations from 2016 through 2022, when Cahill was acquired by REIC. Prior to Cahill, he worked 18 years for Aggreko in sales and operations management.

With over 20 years’ experience, Russ holds exceptional strengths across finance, sales and management. Combining those assets with his breadth of knowledge and experience in the equipment rental industry, REIC Specialty is pleased to work alongside Russ as he leads the TCR organization.
Brad Walker

Brad Walker joined REIC in January 2025 as Vice President & General Manager Industrial US of the Specialty organization. Brad brings 18+ years of senior level operations leadership experience gained in various roles in oil & gas manufacturing and hydraulic repairs with a strong background in finance/accounting, process improvements, supply chain, systems and safety management. Brad’s passion for coaching and developing people was strongly influenced by his collegiate soccer playing and coaching competitive soccer.
Lance Wolgemuth
VP Canada
With over two decades of experience in the rental equipment industry, Lance has built a reputation for delivering innovative equipment solutions and outstanding customer service across Canada’s oil and gas and major Industrial construction sectors. In 2012, Lance co-founded Drive Rental Corp, introducing the Jet Heat and solar hybrid light towers to the North American market. As President, he guided the company through a period of rapid growth and development, ultimately leading to its acquisition by Cahill Services in 2016. Since joining REIC as VP Canada, he has focused on expanding the company’s fleet, growing market share, and advancing technology in the industrial rental space. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to fostering a strong team culture rooted in service excellence, operational efficiency, and dependable performance for customers.

Jason joined REIC Specialty in 2024, bringing over 15 years of experience leading teams in global sourcing, design, and manufacturing, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality products. Passionate about creativity and innovation, Jason specializes in blending technology with design to craft impactful solutions. During his tenure at Inspectron, Inc., Jason developed strategic product roadmaps and guided products from concept to final customer sales channels.
