Power & Lighting
Cutting-Edge Job Site Power & Lighting
Powered by a unique hybrid technology that combines solar energy with a DC generator, REIC’s light towers stand out for their environmentally friendly operation. They are tailored for 24/7 operations in demanding industries such as mining, oil & gas, and construction, where reliability and efficiency are paramount.
Solar Powered Light Towers
Offering three hybrid solar-powered light towers with extremely low fuel consumption. Our light towers can run up to 35 days before refuelling. They also require fewer refuelling visits and oil changes than conventional light towers, leading to lower operational costs and increased uptime. The DSE 3G web interface + GPS module allows real-time remote monitoring and operation.
Hybrid technology: Combining solar energy with a DC generator makes them environmentally friendly.
- HLT Solar Hybrid Unit
- XLT Solar Hybrid Unit
Remote, off-grid construction or exploration sites where fuel drops are costly or impossible (wind-farm lay-downs, wilderness bridges).
24 / 7 haul-road or pit-perimeter lighting for mines that need weeks-long uptime with almost no maintenance.
Low-carbon oil-&-gas pads and pipeline spreads aiming to cut CO₂ and noise without sacrificing illumination.
Disaster-relief or military field bases that need silent, autonomous light while utilities are down.
Festivals, film sets, and campgrounds looking for clean, quiet light far from the grid.
Diesel Powered Light Towers
High-output lighting that powers itself—anywhere. Our diesel light tower fleet couples Tier 4 Final generators (6–8 kW & 20 kW) with ultra-efficient LED fixtures, pushing over 850,000 total lumens. Built for punishing climates, every unit features a telescoping 23- to 30-ft mast with 360° rotation, rugged off-road trailer, and lockable controls that stand up to mining sites, pipeline spreads, and night pours.
- 6-8 kW
- 20 kW
Key Features
- Tier 4 Final generator + high-efficiency LED arrays blast 850,000 lumens while using roughly 50 % less fuel than metal-halide sets.
- Heavy-duty galvanized mast and powder-coated enclosure are rated from –40 °C to 110 °F, so the tower keeps working in brutal weather.
- 23–30 ft hydraulic mast with 360° rotation delivers full-site coverage; rugged trailer and outriggers handle rough terrain.
- 120 V/240 V convenience outlets & web-enabled telematics power small tools and give real-time location, runtime, and fuel data.
Applications
- Night-time highway paving, bridge repairs, and rail maintenance that demand high-mast, high-lumen output.
- Refinery turnarounds, petro-chem shutdowns, and pipeline terminals needing rugged light plus 120/240 V auxiliary power.
- Open-pit mining, aggregate quarries, and drilling pads that require self-contained lighting built for harsh terrain.
- Emergency-response staging or wildfire camps counting on rapid-deploy towers with multi-day fuel autonomy.
- Large events, fairgrounds, and overflow parking lots where onboard outlets keep ticket booths and food trucks running.
Plugin Electric Light Towers
Zero-emission, whisper-quiet illumination for noise- or carbon-sensitive jobs. Our plug-in electric LED towers draw just 2–4 kW, so you can daisy-chain up to 12 units from a single site power panel, small generator, or battery pack-perfect for enclosed spaces, urban night work, and event venues with strict decibel limits.
- X-Chain
Key Features
- Zero emissions & near-silent operation (<60 dB)—ideal for indoor pours, urban night work, and event venues.
- Low draw (2–4 kW) means you can daisy-chain up to 12 towers off one shore-power panel or small genset.
- Collapsible 22 ft mast on compact X-Chain chassis lets one tech tow and deploy four units in minutes.
- Daylight-quality LED arrays (5,000 K, 50,000 hr life) flood up to 40,000 sq ft with glare-free, flicker-free light.
Applications
- Indoor warehouse builds, data-center fit-outs, or tilt-up concrete pours where engine exhaust isn’t allowed.
- Urban night work in residential zones with strict noise bylaws—silent operation keeps neighbours happy.
- Film shoots, concerts, and sports events that need bright light without generator hum on the audio track.
- Tunnel, subway, or utility-vault maintenance where ventilation is limited and zero emissions are mandatory.
- Long-shift projects that link multiple towers from one 120 V shore-power or small generator feed.
